Date - 11/12/25 Senior Cross Country runner Sean Mimler was recognized by the John Henry “Pop” Lloyd Committee as one of their recipients for their annual Youth Award. The Youth Award is presented to those high school seniors who have exhibited exemplary character, community service, and academic achievement. Sean was one of the 10 winners to represent the Cape Atlantic League and is now eligible to apply for the Max Manning Scholarship later this year. On top of cross country, Sean is involved at Buena as the 2026 Class President, stage manager for the school plays, and he also runs indoor track in the winter and outdoor track in the spring. After high school, Sean plans to go to college and get a degree so he can become a fighter pilot. When he was asked about something that makes Buena special he said, “Our school is small, so it's like a big family. You can ask pretty much anyone for help here and get exactly what you need and more.” Congrats Sean!
